Freedom comes at no price. It came at a price of blood and sacrifice, yes, but it comes at no price set forth by any government institution. It is without the price of safety, without the price of security, and without the price of limitations on freedoms for safety and security. Freedom is inherently dangerous, but much safer in itself than so called security and safety, which are just codewords by the current administration for limitations of civil liberties. Thomas Jefferson would be sick to know that such things are being used to limit the safety and the security of freedom itself - with the justification of safety and security of the people… which it really isn’t. It hurts more than it helps. Little old ladies and infants being searched does not increase the safety of the common good - it hinders it and is a direct assault on the freedom to go forth without molestation by ’security’ guards.
It is an abomination that protesters are cordoned off and placed in little cages away from the rallies and so far out of sight that their words can not be heard. This is a new low for the government and the two fascist parties of the United States. Anyone who thinks the Democrats are any different than the Republicans as a whole in their power structure and control is an ignoramus. How can I prove this? The exact same box-off-the-protesters methods will be used at both the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention; without question this is pretty much silencing of free speech and hindering the right to gather and protest.
Next thing you know they’ll be taking away more of the gun rights of the people - either party being guilty mind you. For a people who cannot arm themselves are a people at the mercy of the government’s own police forces, and at the mercy of criminals. The answer is to get rid of weapons bans, and also to get rid of other bans, while allowing for more lawsuits and bigger awards, additionally taking away a few more rights of criminals (i.e. being able to sue because they were shot while breaking into your home. They should be billed for the bullet - not given a reward for a botched robbery).
This idiot nation is on its way to Empire and Collapse. Rome was a republic (flawed I admit) that lasted for hundreds of years. Then came Sulla, who broke the mold and became the first dictator. However, Sulla retired and left Rome back to the people (he’s not all bad) and then came Julius Caesar who planned to do much of the same thing (fix Rome, get rid of some corruption, etc etc and then give it back when he could no longer rule or when he died - but that got a little messed up when he was killed and his bastard Nephew started the three-way rule that broke down… then declared himself emperor after having Julius Caesar’s real son executed). What happens with empires? They grow complacent, they grow old, they begin to fray at the edges, they become weaker and weaker, then they collapse. Even as a Democratic Empire we have become complacent with the so called new normal. It is nothing more than a pure and utter lapse of national judgment… because everyone is getting stupid.
Back to the point. Freedom is free - and there is nothing that should be paid for it except in the defence of it - not the defence of safety or the defence of security. I would rather die a free man, and I would rather my children die free, than to die a scared lump of human waste in the fetal position in a corner, watching the terror flags go up and down and being afraid of outright violations of my rights. You know what? I am afraid of death, I am afraid of being hurt, and I am afraid of getting blown up or shot - but I am more afraid of that happening to me from another American citizen than a terrorist. Even then, I would rather have it happen that way, then be treated like a cow or steer, rounded up and prodded along in lines and then strip searched in the name of security and safety. I would rather have the uncertainty of no national ID card, and the scare of undocumented immigration than have my DNA, hair, and fingerprints stored in a national database. I will always take uncertainty and unknown that comes with freedom over certainty and known that comes with the loss of liberty. And yet… others continue to cling to the fallacy that is national security and ignore the messages of people like I, or like Ron Paul.
Live free, or die. It is the only way to live.

You don’t realize that coal creates steam that creates power.
You don’t realize that clean coal is a myth.
You don’t realize that Nuclear Power is safer than coal by a million times with latest technology, and cheaper in the long run.
You can’t name out first five presidents offhand. (Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe)
You can name who wrote the declaration of Independence, but have no clue who wrote the (majority of the) constitution (Madison) OR think it was done by Jefferson.
You follow what is said by the Federal Government in blind faith, oblivious to the truth.
You believe lies that the Federal Government helps you - forgetting we were founded with a state to federal system that promoted states rights if not equality between the federal and state level.
You believe anything the Bush Administration says, whether you are for or against them.
You watch CNN, Fox, or MSNBC for the primate shows of big blabbing heads who actually say nothing and just try to hook you with emotion. Go read something.
You take no active roll, or say you can do nothing.
You need to retake history again. College level.
You believe George Washington really cut down the cherry tree, or that he could not tell a lie.
You believe we fought the Italians in World War I.
You believe we fought the Chinese in World War II.
You think that our policies in the Middle East throughout the past fifty years have had no impact today. (Hint: 9/11. Read the 9/11 Commission Report and CIA documentation)
You think Ron Paul is some crazy guy who is nuts (try reading his site before you believe the bullshit you have been fed).
You think not actually. You think not at all. You probably support war with Iran or increasing social security to a trillion dollars a year. Bah to you. Bah.

Maybe it is time for a revolutionary do-over?
Maybe it is time for average citizens to rise up and run, support each other, and replace these old parties?
Maybe it is time to END the status quo and DEMOLISH the current parties by SPLITTING THEM UP?
Maybe?
Hopefully?
Who am I kidding. Too many people are just fine with living like they are, sloths to the needs of a country in crisis, happy with their little jobs and little checks and paying their not so little taxes. I for one am sick and tire of politics as usual.
It is time to cause a commotion. It is time to start a REAL change. A change that naught but one candidate can bring about. However, this change must strike all parties. The Democrats and the Republicans must rip themselves apart from the inside and split. There must be no more of this two party system that has been exchanging money like there is no tomorrow.
With these false democrats and false republicans there really is only one party - the Washington D.C. Party. If you want change, you must support the revolution to build more than a three party system. We must have four or more. Only then can we as a country really enact change. It will force involvement of everyone - and everyone should be involved in running their own country.
THIS COUNTRY IS OURS. We the People are the ones in control. We give up our control by voting the party line - it is time to take it back!

I saw the news from Nevada. All I have to say is that they’re in for it now.
Cutting the convention short like idiots in order to trump the Paul victory that is imminent is a ballsy and dumb move, sure they said their time was up - but they could buy more. Next thing you know when they come back from recess they will exclude all Paul supporters - or try to.
If they don’t, then Paul will get more delegates as clear sign of things to come. Mathematically eliminated? One word. Bullshit.
What happens when Paul’s supporters who are un-pledged vote for him in the convention? What happens when the Paul pledged delegates sit out? What happens when McCain is still short of the needed pledged delegates to assure a total victory, and Paul’s supporters are able to secure a deadlock?
Chaos.
Total and utter chaos.
And that’s a good thing - Chaos leads to change, and change leads to new ideas and new faces in our government. The message of liberty is not dead, and neither are we. We, as Paul supporters, are not dead in the water until the end of the National Republican Convention. We must rally the march and stay strong throughout the ordeal ahead. Stay committed - and whenever someone says he can’t win you better say “Wait a minute there pal” and explain to them exactly how we can win.
Continue to flood the states with support, because as long as the state conventions remain undermanned by lackluster Republicans we can unite and show the rest how it is done! We must continue to gain a following, whether or not the end result is a win. We must prepare ourselves for a four year rally if necessary, however we must also do all we can in our power right now.
The Revolution is not dead, and neither is Ron Paul. Fight on for the greater good of the Republic, fight on for the constitution, and fight on for Liberty!
McCain has another thing coming to him if he thinks it is over.

When this economy collapses because our currency is based on the feelings of the public rather than the base that is gold - don’t ever say I did not warn you.
When the government starts attacking the first ten amendments in favor of safety over freedom - don’t say I did not warn you.
When more attacks upon us come, and they are motivated because of our policies and blowback from our actions - don’t say I did not warn you.
When we lose our moral drive as a nation and end up no better than a welfare state that is 40% unemployed while we import 90% of everything - don’t say I did not warn you.
When another country like China owns all our land, and all our assets because we sold our soul for money and for power rather than for freedom and for liberty - don’t say I did not warn you.
When a thousand more men die in a war that is not worth fighting except for the politics behind it - don’t say I did not warn you.
When Ron Paul could have been the best hope for our country, but you voted for someone else and we’ve ended up in a worse state that before - don’t say I did not warn you.
I did warn you. You did not listen.

Windows XP is slated to come off the shelves in June of this year, and that is an absolute travesty. I have worked with the vile villainous Vista and I have to say I will continue to support XP, and likely even after Windows 7 has been wrought.
All you need to do to help save XP is sign the petition! I don’t care if you use vista already, sign it because it matters to about 160,000 people already!
We need to hit half a million before June, and I know there are at least a half million people out there!
Link them! Link your parents, link your children, link your friends, and link your grandparents - hell, Link your dogs and cats and birds and fish! Link everyone to the petition! Forward emails, do whatever it takes!

Our federal tax system is leading us to an economic apocalypse that has not been seen before. Our dollar is baseless, our taxes are getting higher, our entire lives are being managed by the federal government’s tax Gestapo, and normal average Middle Americans are at the center of this assault upon our freedoms to pursue happiness. We set out with a more perfect union in mind, and we ended up with a federal welfare leaning state of government reliance where there should be self reliance. We have become the spoon fed bread lined masses of America, dependant upon Big Brother for our needs, and when we trip up Big Brother punches us where it hurts most: Our wallets.
With this unfair and unconstitutional federal income tax we are being bled dry. We cannot save, we cannot afford, and we cannot make it when we owe the tax system money that we cannot make to pay off. We end up in a catch 22 situation in which there is no possibility of escape. Stuck in the middle, one end is obliteration and homelessness, the other is enslavement to the federal tax system.
It is under these conditions that people become complacent too. They start to incur debt spending, just like our government does - it leads by example after all. Soon, people spend so much in debt just to make ends meet and to be able to eat, that they become insolvent. Just as our federal government will be too. So how can we stop this never ending cycle? We must break it! We must dethrone the taxman as our masters and abolish the personal income tax.
In fact, if done right, the personal income tax abolishment could end up giving us a 200-400 billion dollar surplus federally per year… and that is without ending social security (if phased out it would leave us with nearly a trillion in surplus a year). So how is this possible? You need to look at the systems in place. Many states have their own versions of these already - so transfer responsibility BACK to the states, transfer it all back to where it should be. In the end, you can end the dependency on a tax upon our income, and states will determine the best ways of fund collecting.
However, this also requires the use of Ron Paul’s foreign policies. Free trade, and non-intervention. Not isolationist, but rather anti-interventionist. We pull our troops back in this endless war that is bankrupting our government and our morals, we pull our bases out of all overseas operations. This will cut billions upon billions. That is not to say we let anyone go though - rather they are stationed here at home, upon our borders and our naval installations on our land. Our policy should be defensive, not aggressive. It is absolutely asinine that we should be the ones to start a war - we are the ones that FINISH wars. That is where our morality as a nation lies. Will we be the ones to attack for resources, or will we be the ones to defend our allies and ourselves when we are attacked? The moral high ground rests with the latter, and ‘safety’ be damned. We are more secure, and we are safer if we play defense… because that gives no one a really good reason to touch us.
I personally would rather die a free man, than live in a country that is self obsessed with the bullshit reason that is safety. I want my freedom to be just that - free. Sacrifice freedom for safety? Bugger off.

They always said Death and Taxes were the two things you could count on. Well, it seems that death and taxes go hand in hand. Taxes are the root cause of our internal rot. The cause of taxes is of course, government. The cause of bigger government is socialist ideas in which people think throwing money will fix things.
In the end what really happens is the bigwig politicians take the money and end up crushing the little guy who makes the money - however no one has had money of any worth since Nixon and the debasing of the currency from the gold standard. What do we have now? The ‘How does the country feel’ standard.
At least gold never got depressed.
We have a successful director, actor, and otherwise talented man named Wesley Snipes being sent to prison because he did not want to pay an illegal taxation. Yes, it is illegal, when it was passed Ohio never ratified it correctly, and then later a judge retroactively declared it legal - which is a no no. In any case the government has become reliant on this tax, and in so doing puts the burden of the need of the government upon the backs of the poor and the middle class, and finally the rich too.
What do we gain from income tax? A perpetual war time economy fueled by a standing army and military industrial complex, a social security system that is sucking the life out of the next generations, a medicare and medicaid system that are just pure contemptible horse manure, and finally a need for more money. The Federal Government is like a crack addict, snorting up all our greenbacks while printing more and living in a delirium that everything will be okay, in spite of the enormous deficit.
To fix this inevitable collapse of our government, which is on the way to becoming a global empire that uses war to sustain it, we must look no further than Thomas Jefferson and Jeffersonian ideals.
Smaller government, and more state responsibility. Today the states have less than a fourth of the responsibility they should have. We should therefore eliminate many massive federal programs, and instead turn over control to the states. If you did Medicare and Medicaid this way, along with many other programs (agricultural department is redundant, each state already has one) you could save enough to be making a surplus right now of a few hundred billion dollars. Not enough to cut personal income tax though.
However, if we shut down the war, and shut down our over sea empire, bring all our men and women home where they ought to be, and end this forsaken activity of empire building we could save billions more. Enough to eye the Personal Income Tax and start getting the chainsaw ready. Furthermore if you look at the tax number, you will see that eventually you can save 200 or more BILLION a year and still DROP THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX. Sorry for those of you who like grammar, I had to point that out.
Additionally I did this without even touching social security. Phase that out and you have a +400-600 billion per year to that 200 billion.
If I was able to at this point, I would also deregulate many things and allow for the market to rule, along with lifting restrictions on consumers and their direct affect upon it. By allowing them to sue for environmental damages, and anything else that is wrong, the EPA will be secondary to set precedent and real damages to companies that cause pollution.
Under this system we will have a country that is lighter, and better, at the federal level. That surplus could be put into a government trust - and gold would be the standard again. Eventually there will be trillions in a surplus. What will this do? Assure our country’s survival for the foreseeable future and beyond. It could be a trust fund that would only be used when needed, such as disasters and war. If it saved up 40 trillion dollars, sans the current inflation because of the gold standard, we could fight a war to mars and back if warranted.
I am not an anti-war person - however I am anti-aggressor. We should always be fighting the good war, the defensive battle. Never sacrifice freedom for safety. Never sacrifice our moral authority for money. We must be the shining city on the hill, except instead of a city a whole country that leads the future. We cannot do this in disgrace. The step to bringing back out glory is to bring back our government.
We have to be fighting for the glories of our past, the righteous and pure ideals of a war we fought against tyranny. We must not be that tyranny, we must be liberty, we must be justice, we must be the embodiment of an enlightened society that is out of the dark ages and not tempted by power and greed. We must have hope of a better future, and we must have hope of one that will look to the constitution for guidance, not as a parchment made by dead men 230 years ago, but as a guide set forth by those who saw the future and within it left the ideals of a better country and form of government.
We must also bring in the philosophy of the smartest man to ever live: Thomas Jefferson. Less is best. Local people making local decisions and solving local problems, not some federal dictatorial cover-all system. That is not what we are about. We are about the individual.
Through this the education of this country will improve once again. Fighting for our freedoms should not end with the end of our great revolution, it should never end. Dissent should be protected, and fostered. Opinion is sacred - but the ability to clash is even more holy in the eyes of a government run correctly.
We face before us the choices of a generation that can either salvage the mistakes of the past, or continue them, or worse. We have the power to change this country, and make it better for us and our children, and their children. It is through the virtue of a government run for the good of the people and the freedom of the people that we can regain what we lost.
We shall regain our trust, we shall regain our image, we shall regain our moral authority, we shall regain our secularism, we shall regain our economy and we will regain our jobs. By making our country more competitive and leading by example we can light the world on fire with change. Others shall follow our new groove, our new style of the old ways that made us great in the past. But to do this, to accomplish it all, we must not vote the lesser evil.
We must vote for someone who believes in all of this as much as I do.
We must support no matter the odds, no matter the cost, and we must MARCH in JULY to show our solidarity.
Viva Le Revolution, and Viva Ron Paul!
