Electric Future – The Grid V

At an end, what and end, and end it be to see.

Now I shall sum up the entire document fixing each of the questions in its… oh darn, I used that word already… oh well, in its entirety. Well how would we fix it? We would fix it through a major overhaul of the entire electrical system of our world, using the underground pathways and the above ground structures in places that are unable to host underground lines (places with earth movements and earthquakes, or near volcanically active ground. No one wants to see lava popping up a half mile away and think ‘how’n’d’hell?). How would we keep enough redundancies in case of an all out failure? By using the examples of spider webs, how they are able to keep together under stress when a bug breaks one line, and how other parts stretch to fit the needs (remember, black widow webs, not spirals). How would power stay online from just one source without a total blackout of everyone using that source? With multiple lines underneath the main complex that are redundant in how many go out in the same direction. Instead of just one mega line you have multiple lines running through the ground, so if one does fail you have plenty to fall back on – and again there is a rerouting system through the use of Strand Lines, where power can be sent should there be a failure in any of the major backbones. In addition to all of this, information throughput would be increased to levels that have never been seen and are not planned to be seen for another 20-40 years in just 6 years! Imagine, you can download a DVD in a mere few seconds.

Remember folks, this is an environmentally safe solution to our energy needs too – nuclear power is clean and emission free. Subscribe to the RSS feed! Join the forum! Help me make this world a better place by putting me in charge!
