Mr. Wizard was Don Herbert in his life off the TV screen, and he had several shows.  The one I grew up with was his last one that ran from 83 to 90, and reruns from 90 to 2000.  I used to, as a small child, watch it every single day it was on like a religion.  I bid thee farewell Mr. Wizard, truly one of the best TV personalities ever.  Before Bill Nye that annoying guy, and Beakers Lab (liked it one hair more than the Annoying Guy), there was Mr. Wizard.  God of Science.  If you live in the United States, and are between 18 and 30, and had cable, and still don’t know who Mr. Wizard was - I am sorry.  Your life is forfeit unless you find out.
