Ever wonder why Americans are getting stupid? Ever think to yourself exactly why the masses seem to be getting dumbed down? Dumber people buy more useless things! Dumber people watch more ad-ridden shows. Dumber people… have lower standards. Why is this?

It has become economically viable to sell to dumber people. Americans, and all humans, start with the capacity for greatness, but our corporate masters who use the illegal and wrong methods of creating their businesses that hurt Free Trade and the entire capitalist system are pulling us down.

I support free market, and I support survival of the fittest, however one must notice when a business uses unfair tactics to create a megalithic corporation that has no competition. When this happens, it becomes a battle for the most people, and to do that they must dumb people down. If you eliminate the refined tastes of the consumer, they will be satisfied with the mediocre. Half of this is actually to blame on all of us who consume the products that support these corporations.

However, the other half is the corporation that hides the truths behind their products. Many use cheap overseas labor and try to say it is too expensive here. They will say that even if we have the laws in place that make it easier here than there. Once the Revolution has come to fruition and we have a limited federal government, and hopefully our president is Ron Paul in 2008, we can start combating these corporate snake oil salesmen.

They should be forced to honestly label products, citizens should be able to sue any corporation that uses dishonest tactics, there should be no limits on damages, and finally every individual should have the right to exact any kind of civil suit or criminal suit upon any corporation that pollutes. Who needs the EPA when the companies that are pumping out acids into rivers get a lawsuit from every person in town? Think of the repercussions that will happen when every individual gets the right to sue any company that ruins land, ruins business, and ruins the entire free market ideals through savage tactics to eliminate competition via sabotage and fraud?

Through this, the system will be a self correcting and self cleansing one. Through this, we shall never need to worry again about not being able to do something. We will all be able to take action, we will all be able to file suit, and in the end they will be forced to reckon with the 300 million citizens who are fed up with it. Then, maybe the dumbing down will discontinue, and the education and the actual intellectual vibrancy hidden under the surface in ever man and woman in this country can be brought back again.

You may be wondering “Why would we want some World Dictator to solve our problems? Wouldn’t we lose all our freedoms?” Actually no – in spite of what many think about people who want to rule the world, my dictatorship would be void of the “Total Power” and “Obey the Iron Fist” tactics in countries that cooperated. In fact, social liberties would be greatly expanded and protected in all countries. Only your political freedoms would need to be revoked in order for me to get the things done that I need to. Oh, and one little bonus for you all – Corrupt individuals in any of the smaller governments would be dragged out in public, tarred, and feathered – and left to the mobs of people who were wronged. Really. I hate corrupted individuals as much as you do. Also, addressing the social liberties issue I would not restrict or adopt any religion by my government, or allow such in any of the smaller governments.

On to the “Save your economy” part. First off, I would have to get rid of all federal-reserve like institutions and then (many people will bitch) replace all involved economic currencies with one currency. Sounds bad – but here’s a nice little ditty: The world currency will be printed differently for each country, but accepted by all. The U.S. keeps its dollars, the British keep their Pound, and so on and so on. It just means that they are exchanged at an equal rate, seeing how they’re all a part of the Empire.

On to the next step. All National level governments (the ones answering to mine) would have their spending and responsibilities cut on a massive scale. I’m talking 2 trillion in the U.S. and the same in all other Empire countries. Then the elimination of taxes on persons. Personal income tax elimination means that people keep more of what they make, and therefore they will no longer be worries, or hurt, by direct taxation. Businesses are next on the list, however that will come more slowly as a transition period ensues. All government programs will then be moved to the State level (rather than National Level) governments, because I firmly believe Local People can solve Local Problems with Local Government. That means states are in charge of their own capital gains and running themselves. The national governments are in charge of a few things – insuring the rights of the people are not messed with, insuring the national defense (which for the time being would be null, as the Empire army would be where all of this goes) and also making sure the nation it is in charge of remains efficient and economically productive.

This should eliminate many of the problems the poor face by them being able to keep more of their hard earned money and as such they won’t be the ones pressured to do the unthinkable and crime should fall. I know there will still be poor and there will still be those disadvantaged – I address that with what I will call my own “Public Works” program (Credit to the Roman Empire for a part of the idea). In exchange for Empire medical, housing, and food, they can work for the Empire Public Works program for rebuilding infrastructure. They will also receive on the job training in construction, computer maintenance, Unix, and many other things. To fund this I will be needing an Empire tax (sin tax on things that are unhealthy. Aimed at the people who make them AND the people who consume them – the goal being to lower medical costs), however much of the income will come from the production of Empire Merchandise produced at prisons. No more need for sweatshops. Companies like Nike and such could invest in prisons and then we’d take a part of the profit, and keep it. All prisons would pay for themselves and additionally would pay for many of the government programs.

There will be a lot of prisoners. Think Bush Administration.

There will also be many other ways of Empire income that will not affect or effect anyone. Anyways, with the Public Works program interstates, inter-countries, and other needed pieces of infrastructure, such as the Nevada Nuclear Super-complex (with enough power to supply all of North America) and similar would be built. Everything would be designed for ultra efficiency, and by so doing, the best rate of cash expense and then later gain. Not only would these nuclear facilities be the safest designed – ever (using the latest Generation technology available) they would also be extremely efficient by using heat differentials after the steam turbines to power sterling engines for additional electrical output (I know a lot about energy sources, by using the heat that comes from cooling towers it furthers the efficiency of the operation and produces additional electricity by converting it into mechanical power and then electrical power). There is even a way to harvest the radiation from spent fuel cells and create electricity. This would also be employed in a massive radioactive containment facility that no only contains the material, but produces electricity from it.

What this means for you: Cleaner world. By shutting down older nuclear facilities, coal plants, natural gas plants, and oil plants, the output of pollution will be drastically cut. The highways themselves would be electric and piloted (your car will basically hook into a railing system and be propelled along it and guided to your set destination at speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour, with no chances of collisions because of a system of safeguards and computer guidance). I suspect million worldwide could be employed in these work programs and thus leave with valuable skills to further enhance the world economy.

As the economy grows, so does the Empire’s ability to manage it. The final goal is an absolute free market. With the prosperity countries who remained out of the Empire would likely find themselves either losing people from immigration to neighboring Empire countries, or facing a revolt unless the join. In the end the entire world will be a part, and once secure, the Empire itself will disengage from management as it sees fit. Final goal being just an oversight body that looks on and doesn’t intervene anymore unless there is a problem. Also the planned surplus will be on the magnitude of a few tens of trillions of dollars to fund the final projects – that being the restoration of as much lost fauna as possible to ensure there is an O2 supply, and also chemical cleanup from the past industries that pretty much are today ruining the ocean.
