I noticed how people were declaring that he was a gonner and that his letter was an admission of that, and to those people I stick out my middle finger, because it was obvious in his statement that he did not intend to give up or to quit. He’ll be in the running until the end, and in so doing will remain the only rational choice for a good conservative in the republican party. I’m tired of hearing people say “Oh well, Paul cannot win – I’m voting for Obama”. Excuse me? Doing a little political 180 there, aren’t we? Going from a libertarian point of view about limited government, less involvement in the personal lives of the people, and otherwise bringing back liberty… to a card carrying member of the socialist-lite party? As far as I know no other candidate has a clear cut policy on when we should withdraw troops (codeword… never) and doesn’t have a sound fiscal policy. My god!

Think about it, universal health care plus the war, what do they plan on doing? Going back to the 1950′s income tax rate of whatever ungodly number that was? Bankrupt the country, tax it to hell, and while you’re at it sing “Row Row Row your Sinking Boat, Down the Blood Red Sea”? Come on people. Paul is not out yet, and until the convention all of this pledging means diddly doo squat. It’s not official until convention time and the votes are counted. Hopefully the counting will be honest rather than what I fear. Looking at Paul’s economic policy it makes sense that in order to prevent bankruptcy… YOU HAVE TO CUT SPENDING. Really now, it is that freaking easy. Cut out a trillion and a half, get out of the desert, stop giving countries welfare, and bring everyone home. Then you can cut income tax out – and still have a surplus and a well funded military machine.

I’m sick of all these water-carrying neo-cons with no soul on the news, they’re not real Republicans! Real Republicans voted Goldwater, or at least have a god **** clue as to who he was! Goldwater was THE MAN when it came to conservative policies and constitutionality. These ‘Neo-Cons’ have given the Republican Party a bad rap with their constant harping on social issues, and trying to make it the government’s job to regulate how people act.

That’s just… f**king stupid.

Socially the government should make no policy laws regarding any of that, and when I say government I mean Federal. States are the bodies of power that should have the say in how their citizens act, and even then I think it should be hands off. Back to the Media. The water carrying blubbering fools that feed the party lines of this Neo-Con Crap (NCC) are only trying to manufacture a census amongst conservative voters by bashing them with fake emotion and logical fallacies. Maybe it is time to turn off the TV and read some books? You know? Reading is good. It helps your memory, it helps your thinking abilities, it speeds up your thought processes, and it doesn’t raise your blood pressure like a red faced baboon on the TV screaming about what he thinks is right.

Ron Paul has started what could be the taking back of the Republican Party (of which Goldwater looked at with disdain before he passed on) and bringing it back to the core values of a smaller federal government, a smaller budget, the fiscally sound policy of “Don’t spend what you don’t have” and also the benefit of the people’s rights. Unfortunately it will take some MAJOR rooting of politicians to get the lobby bought out. But that is why we have (hopefully honest) elections.

Paul was never out, and he won’t be out. I will keep my vote with Paul – and in the event of if he might lose, perhaps it is time for those Goldwater Republicans, and Paul Republicans, and the rest of our conservative base to think about… I know this is radical… starting a new party. Or at least the threat of it – which would basically neuter the other factions of the republicans… because I believe that there are many people who want smaller government, more freedom, and less taxes… and I think they’re getting mighty fed up with the crap on a splatter platter we’re being served today.
